Tamara Vucic on a visit to France, meets Brigitte Macron
Over the working lunch in the honour of the Serbian First Lady at the Élysée Palace, interlocutors exchanged opinions on the activities in the field of children’s health and social care, from the earliest development to the age of five, as as well as the problems that young people face in the period of adolescence.
Tamara Vučić and Brigitte Macron specifically addressed the problems arising from the present peer violence and they have been particularly concerned about the elevated level of femicide around the world.
Furthermore, Mrs. Vučić availed herself of the opportunity to raise many questions about cooperation in the field of culture and education, particularly pointing to our engagement in the Francophonie field and the importance of learning French at all levels of education in Serbia.
Tamara Vučić acquainted her interlocutor with the candidacy of Serbia for the organisation of Specialised EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, indicating the significance of this extraordinary event for the whole region of South-East Europe.
Tamara Vučić continued in the company of Brigitte Macron to tour Paris and visited the leading oncology and cancer-research hospital Gustave Roussy.
During the visit, the wife of the Serbian President got to know the French experiences in the treatment of malignant diseases, and to discuss the opportunities for further collaboration between the hospitals of the two countries.
