Political relations
On 2 September, on the sidelines of the Commemorative Meeting marking the 65th anniversary of the First Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) in Belgrade, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of the Sudan, Mohi El-Din Salem, who headed the Sudanese delegation.
Economic relations
According to data from the Statistical Office of the Republic of Serbia, total trade in goods with the Republic of the Sudan in 2025 amounted to EUR 499 thousand, of which exports from the Republic of Serbia accounted for EUR 45 thousand and imports for EUR 454 thousand.

Twelve agreements are in force:
1. Convention on Cultural, Educational and Scientific Cooperation (1959);
2. Agreement on Scientific and Technical Cooperation (1959);
3. Agreement on the Training of Sudanese Officers at the Yugoslav Air Force Academy (1959);
4. Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Venture (1960);
5. Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between Yugoslavia and Sudan (1961);
6. Payments Agreement (1961);
7. Air Transport Agreement with Sudan (1964);
8. Agreed Minutes of the Talks between the Economic Delegations of the SFRY and Sudan; Protocol on Amendments to the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation (1969);
9. Agreement on the Technical Cooperation Programme between the SFRY and Sudan (1971);
10. Agreement Amending Article 4 of the Payments Agreement between the Government of the SFRY and the Government of Sudan (Exchange of Notes, 1978);
11. Protocol of the Third Session of the Joint Committee for Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technical and Cultural Cooperation between the Government of the SFRY and the Government of the Democratic Republic of Sudan (1980);
12. Agreed Minutes of the Fourth Session of the Yugoslav-Sudanese Joint Committee for Economic and Scientific and Technical Cooperation (1988).
