Political relations
Bilateral relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kenya are traditionally friendly. Former President of the Republic of Serbia T. Nikolić presented the Order of the Republic of Serbia on Sash to the President Uhuru Kenyatta for merits in developing and strengthening peaceful cooperation and friendly relations between the Republic of Serbia and the Republic of Kenya.
By invitation of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya Justin Muturi, the then Speaker of the National Assembly of Serbia Maja Gojković paid an official parliamentary visit to Kenya on18−21 February 2019. The return visit of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Kenya Justin Muturi to Serbia took place on 22−25 October 2019.
Economic relations
In 2020, exports amounted to 1.773 million US, while imports amounted to 1.583 million US.
In 2019, the volume of foreign trade exchange between the two countries amounted to 4.6 million US dollars, with the Serbian export accounting for 3.2 million US dollars and import to 1.4 million US dollars.

Protocol on Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the Government of the SFRY and Kenya (signed on 17 December 1963).
Agreement on Establishment of the Yugoslav-Kenyan Committee for Economic and Technical Cooperation (effective as of 30 March 1979).
