Political relations
Bilateral relations are traditionally good and friendly. As part of its anti-colonial policy, SFRY has supported Botswana’s struggle for independence from the very beginning.
The previous President of the Republic T. Nikolić awarded the President of Botswana at the time I. Kama with the Order of the Republic of Serbia on a Ribbon in 2016.
Economic relations
During 2020 exports from the Republic of Serbia to Botswana amounted to 15,000 euros, while there were no imports registered from Botswana.
