USEFUL INFORMATION
HEALTH SITUATION — Health care is below European and US standards. Private healthcare services are better than the public. There are several health risks: Zika virus, Lyme disease, diarrhea, Dengue fever. Travel insurance is required.

SECURITY SITUATION — Trinidad and Tobago has a high crime rate. Attacks, kidnappings for ransom, robbery and sexual assault are possible. Beaches, ports and certain parts of cities during the evening should be avoided. Travelling alone through the country should also be avoided, especially in unlit and remote areas.
TRANSPORT — Public transport includes taxis and minibuses. For intercity transport, it is recommended to use intercity buses and not the previously mentioned transport.
Citizens of the Republic of Serbia need an international driving permit to drive in Trinidad and Tobago. It is possible to use it for maximum three months. The country is left-driving.
