He stated that holding the first meeting of the Strategic Partnership Council between the two countries by the end of the year would be another demonstration of excellent relations between the two presidents and the two governments, but also a good way to continue bilateral cooperation at a high level.

When it comes to economic bilateral relations, Minister Đurić expressed satisfaction with the fact that in the last five years alone, the volume of trade with Azerbaijan had increased nearly 14 times, which spoke of the rising dynamics of mutual economic cooperation.

The head of Serbian diplomacy reiterated his gratitude for Azerbaijan's support in selecting Belgrade to host the Specialized World Exhibition Expo 2027, as well as for the principled respect for Serbia's territorial integrity and sovereignty.

In this context, Đurić referred to the latest events in Kosovo and Metohija, and pointed out that the goal of policy pursued by Pristina was to carry out terror against the Serbian people and its ethnic cleansing from the territory of our southern province.
