Minister Dacic receives the newly-appointed Ambassador of Syria

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received today the new Ambassador of the Syrian Arab Republic to the Republic of Serbia Mohammed Haj Ibrahim.

In a cordial conversation, First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic welcomed Ambassador Mohammed Haj Ibrahim and expressed his confidence that the Ambassador’s work in the Republic of Serbia would be successful.

They noted that Serbia and Syria were bound by traditional and sincere friendship based on mutual understanding and solidarity and that there was mutual readiness to strengthen the cooperation further in areas of common interest.

Minister Dacic expressed his gratitude to Syria for its principled and consistent support to the preservation of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Serbia.
