Minister Dačić meets the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China

At the beginning of the meeting, the Chinese Ambassador expressed to Minister Dačić her deepest condolences on the tragic events in the Vladislav Ribnikar Elementary School and Mladenovac.

Then mutual satisfaction was expressed with the exceptional relations between the Republic of Serbia and the People’s Republic of China, and strong commitment of both parties for further strengthening of overall cooperation based on a comprehensive strategic partnership and steel friendship, emphasised.

Interest in further stepping up of political dialogue and exchanges of visits at highest and high levels, as well as in further advancement of economic and investment cooperation, with special emphasis on concluding a Free Trade Agreement as soon as possible, was expressed.

Dačić reiterated great gratitude to friendly People’s Republic of China for its respect of the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia and, at the same time, pointed to Serbia's consistent support to the “One China” policy and the “One Country, Two Systems” principle.

Beside bilateral topics, further strengthening of excellent cooperation between the two countries in the multilateral area was discussed as well.
