Minister Dačić extends Christmas greetings to all believers who celebrate it according to Julian calendar

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić extended cordial Christmas greetings and best wishes to Serbian Patriarch Porfirije and all believers ahead of this holiday.

“This Christmas Eve and the Christmas Day tomorrow are the days of joy and family happiness, when we celebrate birth, as a symbol of beginnings and of having faith in life. There is no day without eyesight, nor a true celebration without Christmas, said the great poet Njegoš. And for that reason, let this Christmas be another new beginning, which will set us on a path of strength, glory and a message of love to our fellow humans. We have reasons to be happy. Serbia is the most beautiful place in the world, and all of us are helping make it even more wonderful and successful. However,we also have reasons to be even more committed to each other, to our families and our country, guided by the spirit and power of this great holiday. 

I wish you all peaceful holidays, good health, harmony in your families and every success. Peace of God, Christ is Born”, states Ivica Dačić in his Christmas greetings.
