Minister Dacic confers with the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received a courtesy call today from the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway in Belgrade, Kristin Melsom.
Welcoming Ambassador Melsom, Minister Dacic wished her success in her ambassadorial tenure in the Republic of Serbia.
Assessing that the bilateral relations were very good, both parties expressed satisfaction with the intensification of political dialogue at the high and top levels, as well as readiness to tap the potential for deepening the cooperation, particularly highlighting the importance of cooperation with the Kingdom of Norway in the energy sector.
The security situation in Kosovo in Metohija was also discussed at the meeting. Minister Dacic emphasized Serbia's commitment to the preservation of peace and stability, protection of Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija and a continuation of the EU-facilitated dialogue.
