First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic receives a farewell call from the Ambassador of Palestine

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Ivica Dacic received today a farewell call from His Excellency Mr. Mohammed Nabhan, Ambassador of the State of Palestine and the doyen of the diplomatic corps in Belgrade.

The two interlocutors assessed that the relations between the Republic of Serbia and the State of Palestine were traditionally very good and that there was a mutual interest in the further development of cooperation in all areas of shared interest. The importance of the continuation of the political dialogue and the exchange of visits at the high and top levels was particularly emphasized.

Minister Dacic pointed out that the Republic of Serbia highly valued the principled position of the State of Palestine on the non-recognition of the unilateral declaration of independence of "Kosovo".

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic expressed special gratitude to Ambassador Mohamed Nabhan for the great contribution he made, during his long-standing mandate in the Republic of Serbia, to the development of traditionally friendly relations between Serbia and Palestine, characterized by mutual understanding and support.
