Enhancing cooperation with the Republic of Burundi

As part of the official visit of the President of the Republic of Burundi, Évariste Ndayishimiye, to Serbia, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, signed agreements with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Burundi, Albert Shingiro, aimed at strengthening bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
During today’s ceremony at the Palace of Serbia, the ministers exchanged the signed documents of the Agreement on the Abolition of Visas for Holders of Diplomatic and Official Passports and the Agreement on the Establishment of a Joint Commission for Cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Burundi.
The signing of these agreements seeks to further enhance diplomatic cooperation and contribute to the strengthening of ties between the two states and their peoples

President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, is hosting President Ndayishimiye during his visit, and the delegations of both countries held a plenary meeting today, attended by the Presidents of Serbia and Burundi.
