Djuric spoke with the head of Israeli diplomacy

Marko Djuric, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, held discussions today with Gideon Saar, the Foreign Minister of the State of Israel.
In today's telephone conversation, Djuric expressed satisfaction with the dynamic of political dialogue between the two countries and expressed hope for further strengthening cooperation in various areas of mutual interest in the coming period.
According to the minister, Serbia is closely monitoring the situation in the Middle East and strongly supports the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip.
In this context, Djuric welcomed the ongoing release of hostages, expressing hope that the ceasefire will contribute to the release of all captives in the shortest possible time.
The head of Serbian diplomacy reminded that among the hostages there is still a Serbian citizen, Alon Ohel, and that Serbia will continue to advocate for his release.
