Minister Đurić reiterated our country's firm resolve to cooperate with the new U.S. administration in strengthening political, economic, and other aspects of our relations, and to assert itself as one of the key U.S. partners in Europe.
Informing his interlocutor about the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, Đurić particularly emphasized the constant provocations and violations of basic human rights of Serbs and other non-Albanian populations, stressing that in the current situation of heightened tensions, we expect international partners to ensure the rights and security of Serbs and support the implementation of all agreements reached in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
