Đurić: Longstanding tradition of cooperation between Serbia and Libya

During his stay in New York for the session of the United Nations General Assembly, Minister of Foreign Affairs Marko Đurić met with the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the State of Libya, Al Taher Salem Al Baour, with whom he discussed opportunities for cooperation as well as key issues on the international agenda.
Minister Đurić emphasized the friendly relations and longstanding tradition of cooperation between Serbia and Libya.
He underscored that Serbia is interested in revitalizing ties between the two countries through exchanges of high-level visits, extending an invitation to his Libyan counterpart to visit Serbia.
The Serbian Foreign Minister stressed that the Republic of Serbia highly values Libya’s support on issues of utmost national importance for our country.
Speaking about the upcoming EXPO 2027, Minister Đurić expressed satisfaction that Libya has confirmed its participation and will have the opportunity to showcase itself to visitors from across the globe at this specialized international exhibition.
