Đurić confers with Speaker of the Parliament of Ghana in Accra

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, met in Accra with the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Ghana, Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, and members of the Parliament.

The interlocutors agreed that parliamentary cooperation represents an important channel of communication between the two countries and emphasized that strengthening inter-parliamentary dialogue is of great significance for the advancement of overall bilateral political and economic relations between the two nations.

Minister Đurić expressed satisfaction with the recent establishment of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Serbia in the Parliament of Ghana, which will further connect parliamentarians and, together with the Friendship Group with Ghana in the National Assembly of Serbia, enhance the dialogue at the executive level.

Both sides expressed a mutual desire for an official visit to the Republic of Serbia at the earliest opportunity.
