Đurić confers in New York with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Honduras

On the margins of the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Marko Đurić, held a bilateral meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Honduras, Javier Efraín Bú Soto.

The two ministers discussed ways to further advance overall relations and cooperation between the two countries, underscoring the importance of regular communication between their respective foreign ministries. Minister Đurić extended an invitation to his Honduran counterpart to visit Serbia in the period ahead.

They reviewed in detail the state of the bilateral legal framework and explored opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the fields of economy, education, and sports.

Minister Đurić also informed his colleague about preparations for the upcoming Specialized Expo 2027 and expressed his expectation that Honduras will soon confirm its participation in writing.

On this occasion, the two ministers signed the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Honduras on the Mutual Abolition of Visas.

The meeting was also attended by the President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, Marko Čadež.
