TANJUG - Dačić: Arrest lists for Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija are evidence of Kurti's lunacy
After signing the Cooperation Protocol with the Ministry of Information and Telecommunications at the premises of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia, Minister Dačić said that the lists of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija who were to be arrested confirmed two things.
“Firstly, Pristina's claim that there are not such lists is now shown to be a lie. And those lists include family members of President Vučić. Secondly, it has now been confirmed that the main cause of all the problems, the main disruptive force and threat to peace and stability in the region is Albin Kurti and his clique”, stated Minister Dačić.
In his words, those events have again reaffirmed the unity of Serbia's leadership, led by President Aleksandar Vučić, and the Serb List and the Serbian people in Kosovo and Metohija.
“Yesterday’s magnificent gathering showed the power that the people have when they are fighting for freedom and peace. We are aware that Kurti wants to exile Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, as a short cut to the solution to the matter of Kosovo and Metohija that he would like to see. We will never allow him that, and it has been made obvious who is the biggest obstacle to his plans - President Vučić”, said Minister Dačić. He added that the attacks on the President’s family and the inclusion of his family members on the arrest lists were attempts to put pressure on him.
Minister Dačić called these attempts shameful and outrageous, and said that he expected the strongest possible condemnation by the international community.
However, he emphasised that up to that point he had not heard any response from them.
“Everyone knows that President Vučić and Serbia have been the constructive side in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina. Everyone says that Kurti is the problem. But what are they doing to resolve that problem? Their silence equals support for his attempts to exile the Serbian people from Kosovo and Metohija”, stated Minister Dačić.
