State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Nikola Stojanović, met today with Yang Wanming, President of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), who is leading a delegation on a working visit to Serbia.

During the discussions, Stojanović and Yang agreed that Serbia-China relations have reached an unprecedented level, with the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries further deepened during President Xi Jinping’s second visit to Serbia in 2024, when it was elevated to a Community with a Shared Future in the New Era.

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic exchange of high-level visits and the consistent and principled mutual support on issues of vital national interest to both countries.

It was noted that there is significant potential for further enhancing cooperation between the two nations, particularly in the fields of economy, culture, education, sports, local government collaboration, and youth exchanges.

Stojanović thanked the Chinese side for confirming its participation in the international exhibition EXPO 2027 in Belgrade, while Yang emphasized that China is pleased to be part of this prestigious event.

On this occasion, both sides also expressed their satisfaction in marking an important milestone this year—the 70th anniversary of friendly relations between the peoples of Serbia and China.
