Selaković: Use full potential for continued development of Serbia–Angola relations

Upon his arrival in Luanda today, where he was to attend the inauguration of President of Angola João Manuel Gonçalves Lourenço in the capacity of the Special Representative of the President of Serbia, Minister of Foreign Affairs Nikola Selaković stated that the participation of a representative of Serbia in such a ceremony was a way to honour a people and a country that Serbia and its people shared a friendship and brotherhood.
Speaking to reporters at the airport in Luanda, Minister Selaković said that Serbia and Angola had shared a strong connection in the past, and that this visit would be an opportunity to express Serbia’s desire not only for preserving the traditionally friendly and brotherly relations, but also for further improvement of the cooperation between the two countries.
He emphasised that Serbia and Angola should fully use the potential for building a close and fruitful cooperation.
During his visit in Luanda, Minister Selaković will have a number of meetings with Angolan officials, as well as with representatives of other countries who are attending the inauguration.
