Secretary General Kozarev meets with the Ambassador of Somalia

At the beginning of the meeting, Kozarev recalled that Serbia and Somalia were bound by a rich history of diplomatic relations, expressing the expectation that bilateral cooperation would be further promoted in the future.

Kozarev expressed his gratitude to Somalia for demonstrating its commitment to international law when it comes to Kosovo and Metohija, as well as for the support lent to Serbia on key issues of its national interest.

The parties also affirmed their clear positions on mutual respect for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of either country.

Furthermore, the interlocutors pointed out the importance of cooperation in the field of education, primarily regarding scholarships for students from Somalia attending university studies in our country, while also discussing the potential available in terms of economic cooperation.
