Minister Dačić meets with the Ambassador of Egypt

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Serbia Bassel Salah for a courtesy visit.

Minister Dačić and Ambassador Salah both expressed their pleasure with the exceptionally successful development of the traditionally good and friendly relations between the two countries.

They agreed that there was a lot of potential for further development of the overall bilateral cooperation, including an intensification of the political dialogue and an exchange of high-level and highest-level visits.

Minister Dačić thanked the Arab Republic of Egypt for its understanding and support to the positions of the Republic of Serbia with respect to the situation in Kosovo and Metohija, and stated that he considered Egypt’s position in the matter a confirmation of the traditional friendship between the two countries and their people. 

He wished Ambassador Salah a successful mandate and pleasant time during his stay in the Republic of Serbia.
