Kozarev confers with Ambassador Vranješ
Ambassador Vranješ, who served as a reviewer of this publication, expressed his gratitude to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia for its support and assistance in the process of publishing the monograph.
He underlined that the first volume of this publication, released in 2016, opened a new perspective on the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina by drawing attention to the suffering of Serbian civilian victims who had long been neglected. The second volume, he emphasized, brings forth new testimonies of younger victims, along with official documentation from the Republic Center for War Research, War Crimes, and the Search for Missing Persons. In addition to its documentary value, the publication also serves a therapeutic role, helping victims overcome trauma through open dialogue.
Secretary General Kozarev concurred with Ambassador Vranješ on the importance of ensuring that every crime is prosecuted, emphasizing that the suffering of all innocent people is equally grave and must not go unpunished.
On this occasion, Kozarev reaffirmed Serbia’s unequivocal support for the Dayton Peace Agreement, and both interlocutors highlighted the importance of reconciliation and coexistence in Bosnia and Herzegovina as a foundation for a better future for all its citizens.
Kozarev and Vranješ also discussed the most current regional issues, as well as developments on the international stage.
