Kozarev confers with the Ambassador of Albania

Both sides expressed optimism regarding future cooperation, particularly in light of the appointment of Ferit Hoxha as Albania’s new Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs. They reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations in order to contribute to the development and stability of the region.

The meeting also addressed the strengthening of economic ties, with particular emphasis on agriculture and tourism, while highlighting the importance of the expected forthcoming signing of an agreement on cooperation between the two countries’ ministries of agriculture.

European integration was also discussed as a shared foreign policy priority of both countries. The interlocutors further reflected on the good cooperation between Serbia and Albania within the framework of Interpol in combating transnational organized crime.
