Jović confers with the President of the Japan–Serbia Parliamentary Friendship League
State Secretary Jović expressed his appreciation to President Aisawa for his efforts and commitment to strengthening bilateral relations and extended an invitation to the delegation of the Japan–Serbia Parliamentary Friendship League to visit Serbia.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the cooperation between Japanese companies and the Government of the Republic of Serbia, underscoring their shared interest in further deepening this cooperation, both in the private sector and in other areas of mutual interest.
State Secretary Jović highlighted that the two Expo exhibitions, to be held in Belgrade and Yokohama in 2027, represent an ideal opportunity for Serbia and Japan to present themselves to the world in the best possible light. He conveyed the readiness of the Serbian side to reciprocate the warm hospitality extended by Japan to high-level and senior delegations during Expo 2025 in Osaka, by offering equally warm hospitality during Expo 2027 in Belgrade.
The interlocutors also exchanged views on international issues of mutual interest.
