Jovanović meets UK Minister of State for Defence

The State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Nevena Jovanović hosted a working lunch today with the UK Minister of State for Defence of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, responsible for international relations, defence diplomacy and parliamentary affairs in the House of Lords, Vernon Rodney Coaker.
During the meeting, the interlocutors reviewed prospects for further enhancing bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and the United Kingdom, with particular emphasis on security and parliamentary cooperation. They also exchanged views on current regional issues, the role of the Republic of Serbia in the Western Balkans, its European integration process, as well as broader global political developments.
The interlocutors noted that cooperation between the two countries is at a good level, expressing mutual readiness to further develop and deepen relations across all areas of common interest.
