Jovanović meets with the Austrian Ambassador

Both sides expressed satisfaction with the high level of bilateral relations and overall cooperation between Serbia and Austria, noting that there is considerable scope for further enhancement, particularly in the fields of trade and economic cooperation.

The interlocutors agreed that sustained high-level political dialogue is of paramount importance for the continued strengthening of the partnership.

State Secretary Jovanović emphasized the importance of Austria’s support for Serbia’s European path, as well as Serbia’s readiness to continue implementing reforms aimed at achieving full membership in the European Union.

The interlocutors also exchanged views on current regional and international issues, reaffirming their readiness to continue cooperation and coordination within international fora.

It was assessed that the current relations between Serbia and Austria constitute a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
