Jovanović confers with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan

On the margins of the session, State Secretary Jovanović met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Fariz Rzayev, to discuss further enhancement of political dialogue and economic cooperation between the two countries, as well as activities and mutual support within international organizations.

The interlocutors expressed mutual satisfaction with the bilateral relations between Serbia and Azerbaijan, which were described as being at an exceptionally prominent level and free of any outstanding issues, based on traditionally friendly ties, mutual trust, and respect for the fundamental principles of international law.

It was concluded that the strategic partnership between the two countries provides a solid foundation for further strengthening of cooperation in all areas of common interest.
