First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dačić meets with the Ambassador of Algeria

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dačić received Ambassador of the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Republic of Serbia Fatah Mahraz for a courtesy visit today.

Minister Dačić conveyed Serbia’s commitment to continuing the developing of the overall bilateral cooperation with Algeria in the period ahead, including an exchange of high-level and highest-level visits.

He particularly thanked Algeria for the principled and consistent support to the preservation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of Serbia, in accordance with the international law highlighted the possibilities for a further enhancement of the economic cooperation, using the huge existing potential, and emphasised that the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations was marked in 2022.

They agreed that there was room for strengthening the bilateral relations and intensifying the high-level and highest-level political dialogue.

Ambassador Mahraz congratulated Minister Dačić on his reappointment as the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.

Minister Dačić wished Ambassador Mahraz success in his mandate as the Ambassador of Algeria to Serbia.
