Bilateral Political Consultations between Serbia and Angola

The State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia, Damjan Jović, and the State Secretary for International Cooperation Domingos Lopes led the bilateral political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Angola, which were held today in Belgrade.

The friendly relations between the two countries were reaffirmed, and readiness was expressed to further enhance bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest, with particular emphasis on strengthening collaboration in the fields of economy, agriculture, and information technologies.

State Secretary Jović expressed his confidence that Angola’s participation in Expo 2027 in Belgrade will contribute to the success of the exhibition and to fostering a positive and dynamic atmosphere.

The interlocutors underlined the importance of further intensifying cooperation within international organizations and multilateral forums, as well as the value of mutual support on issues of national interest.

State Secretary Jović conveyed his appreciation to the Republic of Angola for its support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
