Bilateral political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Serbia and Iran
During the discussions, the two sides exchanged views on key aspects of bilateral relations, cooperation within international organizations, as well as the most pressing developments at the international and regional levels.
The Republic of Serbia and the Islamic Republic of Iran remain committed to further deepening and diversifying their cooperation in all areas of mutual interest, based on the principles of friendship and mutual understanding.
State Secretary Jović reiterated Serbia’s appreciation for the Islamic Republic of Iran’s consistent support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia, as well as for Serbia’s efforts to resolve the issue of Kosovo and Metohija through dialogue and by peaceful, diplomatic means.
State Secretary Damjan Jović and Deputy Foreign Minister Takht-Ravanchi signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Diplomatic Academy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Serbia and the School of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
