Ambassador Oliver Antić dies

It is with great sadness that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces that our distinguished colleague, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Portugal, Oliver Antić, died in Lisbon as a result of an accident today.
We will remember him as an excellent professor, great patriot and a man of superior legal mind and sharp writing skills.
He will be remembered for his professionalism and dedication as the Ambassador of our country to Portugal, as well as his contribution to the improvement of relations between Serbia and Portugal.
The Ministry shares the pain of family, friends and colleagues of Ambassador Antić.
On Tuesday, 22 February, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the Book of Condolence will be opened in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at Kneza Miloša 24 (the main entrance at the Corner with Nemanjina St.). The online Book of Condolence will be opened at: protokol@mfa.rs.
Information on the date of memorial service and funeral will be announced at a later date.
