Yerevan: Ambassador Panajotović Cvetković receives representatives of the International Poetry Festival “Smederevo's Poet Autumn”

In the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Armenia Tatjana Panajotović Cvetković received representatives of the International Poetry Festival “Smederevo's Poet Autumn”, namely its Director Miljan Guberinić and Executive Producer Marina Milenković.

At the Ambassador’s invitation, the guests from Serbia visited the Embassy of Serbia in Yerevan, where they discussed the plans for cultural cooperation with Armenia, in particular relating to poetry, and preparations for organising this year’s 53th edition of this traditional event dedicated to poetry and held in Smederevo.

A recital entitled “World of the Balkans” was held on 9 September in the City Central Library after Avetik Isahakyan in Yerevan, organised by Honorary Consul of Serbia Babken Simonyan. It included a concert in which Miljan Guberinić and Marina Milenković presented the music from Serbia and the region.

The audience gathered in the library was greeted by Ambassador Panajotović Cvetković, who stressed that such events helped the people of Serbia and Armenia get to know each other better and learn more about each other’s cultures.
