Vienna: Diaspora Business Day of the Municipality of Kladovo and the Municipality of Negotin was held

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Vienna Nebojša Rodić hosted the „Diaspora Business Day of the Municipality of Kladovo“ and the „Diaspora Business Day of the Municipality of Negotin“.

The meeting was organised by the International Centre for Migration Policy Development (ICMPD) and the LinkUр! Serbia II project, in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Austria.

The goal of this event is to encourage dialogue and cooperation between members of the Serbian business diaspora in Austria who are interested in investing in their homeland and representatives of the local self-government of the Municipality of Kladovo and

the Municipality of Negotin, as well as other relevant partners at the regional and national level.

Investors of the Serbian diaspora had the opportunity to present their investment projects and to agree on cooperation with the representatives of the Municipality of Kladovo and the Municipality of Negotin and set out common steps that would facilitate their implementation.

In addition, investment opportunities developed together with local self-governments and the Regional Development Agency Eastern Serbia (RARIS) within the LinkUp! Serbia II project were presented.

This event gathered representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Serbia employed in the Directorate for Cooperation with the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region, the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Austria, the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia, the Regional Development Agency Eastern Serbia (RARIS), the Municipality of Kladovo and the Municipality of Negotin, as well as entrepreneurs from the diaspora in Austria.
