Tokyo: Presentation of Serbian wines and ajvar at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia
On this occasion a special label was presented, intended for the wines of Aleksandrović winery on the occasion of the 140th anniversary of friendship between Serbia and Japan, and which was designed by famous Japanese artist Shiryu Okabe.
Ambassador Aleksandra Kovač welcomed the guests and expressed satisfaction that an important anniversary of bilateral relations was being marked in this way as well. She pointed out the rich tradition and culture of wine in Serbia, as well as the fact that nowadays that industry was on the rise, and that Serbia could be proud of award-winning producers and wines.
Over 30 present representatives of companies and the service sector had the opportunity to hear a short presentation about Serbia, as well as to receive detailed information from Makoto Investments Company about wine regions, grape varieties and wines from Serbia tasted during the evening. The guests also tasted ajvar and other Serbian specialties.
