Sofia: Ambassador Jović met with the Minister of Health of Bulgaria

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to Bulgaria, H.E. Željko Jović, met with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Bulgaria H.E. Assen Serbezov, and her Deputy Mr Peter Gribnev.

Ambassador Jović informed his interlocutors in detail about all completed projects in Serbian healthcare, as well as the overall current potentials of our healthcare system, which will provide a far higher level of health care not only to Serbian citizens but to the entire region as well.

The ambassador also pointed out the positive trends in Serbian healthcare, such as the employment of young doctors, and pointed out that, in the previous period, several thousand young doctors and nurses got jobs, which drastically reduced employment migration such skilled staff.

At the end of the meeting, Ambassador Jović thanked Minister Serbezov for her exceptional support and professionalism resulting in the lifting the complete ban on entry for Serbian citizens at the end of 2021.
