Seoul: Serbian film in competition at the SDA festival
The festival takes place every year, under the auspices of the Korean Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the national media house “KBS” and the Seoul City Government.
The guests included representatives of the Korean and foreign film companies, film artists, and representatives of the diplomatic corps of the countries whose films/TV series were in selection.
The film “Shoots in Marseille”, directed by Gordan Matić, is the first Serbian film in 17 years to enter the selection for the SDA. The Embassy worked together with the Film Centre of Serbia on work coordination and film promotion. A renowned film critic Miroljub Stojanović, a recognized connoisseur of Asian cinematography, was a jury member.
Taking part in this prestigious festival is a solid base for further work on the promotion of Serbian cinematography in the Republic of Korea, a country whose cinematography is famous worldwide.
