Seoul: Ambassador Grbić as a panellist at the annual „Knowledge Sharing Program Dissemination Conference“
The theme of this year's conference, which was attended by about 500 people, was Knowledge Sharing Towards Resilient Sustainability.
In 2004, the Ministry of Economy and Finance of Korea launched KSP as a form of development assistance of the Korean Government through consultative and practical engagement. A conference of this type is held every year for the purpose of exchanging experience and presenting the results of the KSP conducted throughout the previous project year.
In his presentation on the topic Sharing knowledge in a context of crises and uncertainty - the case of Serbia, Ambassador Grbić presented the results achieved so far in the field of digitization of public administration in Serbia, and spoke about positive examples of cooperation with Korea in this regard, as well as in the field of information and communication technologies.
He briefly presented the work of the Office for IT and eGovernment under the Government of the Republic of Serbia, the state DATA centre in Kragujevac, as well as the successes of the so-called SKIP centre in Belgrade (with plans to open the next one in Niš).
At the end of the presentation, the Ambassador referred to the possible future cooperation with Korea as regards KSP, while the topics of smart cities, climate change, energy policy, bioeconomy and urban mobility were singled out.
