Seoul: Ambassador Grbić met with the Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Seoul Nemanja Grbić met at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea with Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs for Planning and Coordination Ambassador Cho Hyundong, who until recently held office as the Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Serbia.

In a cordial conversation, the interlocutors assessed that there was significant potential for improving relations between the two countries, both in the areas of political relations and economic cooperation, as well as in the sector of cultural, sports and inter-university cooperation, and for presentation of Serbian agricultural products, wine and brandy on the Korean market.

The high-ranking official of the Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs took the opportunity to point out the importance of the candidacy of the Korean city of Busan for hosting the World EXPO 2030, while Ambassador Grbić briefly presented the candidacy of Belgrade for hosting the Specialised Exhibition EXPO 2027 and asked for the support of Korea, in accordance with friendly relations between the two countries.
