Romania: Tomašević with the director general of the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Bucharest, Stefan Tomašević, met today with the director general of the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center (SELEC), Snejana Maleeva.
Ambassador Tomašević pointed out the importance that Serbia attaches to cooperation within the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center, emphasizing the exceptional contribution of that organization in the development of regional cooperation, especially on issues within the competence of the Customs Administration and the Ministry of Interior.
Also, the ambassador emphasized that he hopes that SELEC will contribute to the further improvement of cooperation of the member states of that organization, when it comes to the prevention and suppression of criminal activities with the element of cross-border connection.
Director general Maleeva says Serbia serves as an example to other member states of the Southeast European Law Enforcement Center.
