Rabat: Ambassador Bauer at the United Nations Alliance of Civilisations Global Forum

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Kingdom of Morocco Ivan Bauer, as head of the Serbian delegation, participated at the Global Forum of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations (UNAOC) in Fez.

This 9th Global Forum entitled “Towards an Alliance of Peace: Living Together as One Humanity” brings together delegations from member countries of the UNAOK Group of Friends and deals with global topics including violent extremism, hate speech on the Internet, the role of women and youth and revitalised multilateralism.

The meeting was opened by United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, United Nations Under-Secretary General and his High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Miguel Angel Moratinos, and Andre Azoulay, King Mohammed VI's senior advisor.

The representatives of the co-sponsors of the Alliance of Civilisations, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlut Çavuşoğlu, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain Ángeles Moreno Bau, and Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccan Expatriates of the Kingdom of Morocco Nasser Bourita spoke after the opening.
