Prague: Promotion of the Czech-Serbian Association at the Serbian Embassy
In his address, Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Prague Berislav Vekić highlighted the excellent bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, which were improving year by year, and reminded of the successful foreign trade exchange, which in 2021 was by 21% higher than in the record year of 2020.
The representatives of the Czech-Serbian Association Radim Panenka and Marian Stepanović acquainted the present people at the promotion with the previous activities and future plans of the Association.
The Director of the Foreign Department at the Office of the President of the Czech Republic Rudolf Jindrák, the representative of the Václav Klaus Institute Petr Macinka, and Jaroslav Foldyna, the Member of Parliament and the President of the Czech-Serbian Interparliamentary Committee of the Czech Parliament spoke at the round table.
During the talks, the space for the improvement of trade exchange was recognised and the need for greater engagement in the field of economy was emphasised.
Also, new projects in the field of culture were discussed, which will be organised by the Association in the coming period.
The event, which was attended by prominent persons from the field of politics, economy, art, science, as well as by the representatives of the Serbian diaspora in the Czech Republic, ended with a cocktail party.
