Luanda: Ambassador Perišić met the Minister of Culture of Angola

During the meeting, Ambassador Perišić extended the invitation to Angola to take part in the 44th International Tourism Fair, as well as the Book Fair, which are held in Belgrade.

Ambassador Perišić also informed about the successful exhibition of young Angolan artists organised by the Museum of African Art in Belgrade in 2022 and expressed the hope that a reciprocal exhibition would be organised in Luanda the current year.

Minister Zau pointed out that it was important for Angola to establish cooperation with Serbian cultural institutions, especially museums, in order to exchange experiences and gain knowledge.

He also stated that Angola counted on the support of Serbia when it comes to the development of tourism, bearing in mind the results that our country achieved in that field.

The interlocutors also discussed the continuation of translating the works of Angolan writers into the Serbian language, as well as Serbian writers into the Portuguese language.
