Luanda: Ambassador Perišić meets with the Governor of the Bengo Province

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Angola Miloš Perišić visited the Bengo Province and met with the new Governor of that province Maria Nelumba.

Ambassador Perišić presented Governor Nelumba with a congratulatory message from President of the Government of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina Igor Mirović.

He conveyed Serbia’s readiness to continue enhancing the cooperation and contacts between the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and the Bengo Province. 

Governor Nelumba thanked him for the congratulatory messages, and invited President Mirović and a delegation of the Provincial Government to visit the Bengo Province and witness its potential, particularly in the fields of agriculture, forestry and fisheries. 

She also expressed her readiness to sign a treaty of friendship with the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, thus further strengthening the cooperation between the two provinces.
