Helsinki: Month of Francophonie
Embassies of France, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Egypt, Greece, Morocco, Slovakia, Switzerland and Tunisia also participated in the event.
The Embassy of Serbia presented Serbian national dishes, Serbian red wine and the Serbian alcoholic beverage rakia at its stall.
Promotional videos of the participating countries were shown at the central screen during the event, including Serbia’s two videos: one about Belgrade and another one about Novi Sad, the latter a European Capital of Culture in 2022.
Another segment of the Month of Francophonie that the Serbian Embassy participated in was the “Virtual City Tour”. Each participating country submitted a video of one of its cities to the French Institute, in order for it to be used by the Institute as a teaching material.
