Doha: Serbian flag raised at the FIFA Football World Cup Flag Plaza in Doha

Chargé d'affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Qatar, Slobodan Radeka, attended the flag raising ceremony at the Museum of Islamic Arts, at the MIA Park in central Doha.

The flag-raising ceremony of the countries qualified for the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 was held in the presence of Qatar's Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, Director of the Museum of Islamic Arts Salem Al Aswad, officials from the Qatari Ministry of Culture and dignitaries from diplomatic corps.

Next to the Serbian flag is a billboard showing information about Serbia and a five-minute promotional film by the Tourist Organization of Serbia.

The flags and billboards showing promotional films about the participating countries will remain at the Mia Park until the end of the FIFA World Cup on December 18. Large video beams have been installed for this purpose at several locations in the park, which will allow the visitors to see the beauty and places of interest of the Republic of Serbia.

Tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world are expected to visit MIA Park during the World Cup.
