Đurić: Serbia is fully committed to peace, solidarity and cooperation

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the United States of America, Marko Đurić, talked with Congresswoman Sara Jacobs, the Democratic Representative of California and Member of the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US Congress.

Ambassador Đurić informed Congresswoman Jacobs about the current situation in the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, and reiterated that our side will always strive for talks in order to find a comprehensive solution.

"Serbia has been, is and will be fully committed to peace, solidarity and cooperation in this area, which we continuously show with our responsible approach. President Vučić's vision is to connect people and strengthen the economy, and in that sense, we are ready to carry the economic flag and lead the region on the path of progress and well-being for all of us", Đurić pointed out.

Ambassador Đurić informed Congresswoman Jacobs about the plans of the Embassy in Washington to mark the 140th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Serbia and the USA, and invited her to become a member of the Serbian Caucus on Capitol Hill.
