Bucharest: Ambassador Tomašević with the President of Moldova

The Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Bucharest, Stefan Tomašević, participated in a virtual meeting of accredited ambassadors with the President of Moldova, Maia Sandu.

On that occasion, Tomašević emphasized Serbia's support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova and expressed readiness for cooperation with Moldova and exchange of experiences in various fields.

President Maia Sandu pointed out that the Republic of Moldova clearly adheres to its pro-European course and pointed out the main goals of the Moldovan authorities, such as judicial reform, fight against corruption and organized crime, but also creating favorable conditions for new investments and economic development. She also referred to the current problems related to the pandemic and energy.

At the end of the conversation, Ambassador Tomašević thanked Moldova for its continuous support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia.
