Berlin: Ambassador Janković with the State Secretary in the Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection

In the conversation, Ambassador Janković underlined the high level of economic relations between Serbia and Germany, which is our most important foreign trade partner and one of the largest investors, whose companies contribute to the economic development and growth of Serbian export.

Ambassador Janković also pointed out the interest of Serbia in the development of cooperation in the field of energy and climate protection.

State Secretary Giegold emphasised the interest of Germany in further developing economic cooperation with Serbia, pointing out the importance of continuing the reforms so that Serbia would make further progress in European integrations and represent an even more favourable and attractive business environment for German companies.

State Secretary Giegold also expressed readiness of Germany to help Serbia in the field of renewable and environmentally friendly energy sources, as well as in the joint fight against climate change.
