Baghdad: Ambassador Balov with the Minister of Youth and Sports

Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia in Baghdad Uroš Balov met with Minister of Youth and Sports Adnan Dirjal.
The interlocutors agreed that Serbia and Iraq had traditional cooperation in exchanging experiences in modern sports achievements and in exchanging sports experts, especially football experts, given that football was indisputably the most popular sport in Iraq.
Furthermore, Minister Dirjal proposed to have a new Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two Ministries, aimed at extending the cooperation to other sports as well and at exchanging experiences in the creation of youth policies, as one of the vital topics for Iraqi society.
Minister Dirjal also expressed his willingness to visit Serbia to see for himself Serbia`s extraordinary possibilities in the field of training camps for sports clubs and national teams in several sports.
